If you were to go back in time 10 years and tell the world that President Donald Trump would be under investigation for collusion with the Russians, someone would have had you mentally evaluated.
Yet, here we are.
The fact that Donald Trump is President is not the most shocking piece of that hypothetical time travel scenario. As an astute businessman and international icon, Trump was the only person who could have taken the reigns of the nation from the Washington elite’s clutches in these uncertain times. No, the unbelievable part is that he would be investigated for working hand in hand with the Russians to win the presidency – a theory being perpetuated by the off-their-rocker democrats.
“The Democratic Party is focusing on the allegation that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government, and a poll out Tuesday shows that a majority of voters don’t buy this.
“The Harvard-Harris poll results released by The Hill show that 54 percent of registered voters don’t think members of the Trump team colluded with the Russian government during the presidential campaign. The poll of 2,092 voters was conducted between March 14 and March 16, before FBI Director James Comey announced the FBI is investigating ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.”
These numbers not only bolster the President’s assertions that the Russia claims are baseless, but they also reinforce the idea that American elected Donald Trump precisely because of ridiculous liberal assertions such as this.
The nation is completely, unequivocally uninterested in having our government tied up in investigating these already debunked conspiracy theories. Please, for the sake of Americans everywhere, give it a rest and let the President get back to work.
