Donald Trump, the business magnate, has taken the White House by storm, and his propensity for profit has certainly make an enormous impact on the nation.

Before Trump was even sworn into the Oval Office, massive corporations such as IBM, Ford, and Chrysler, made enormous investments into the United States’ workforce.  Then, just this week, Trump signed his “America First” executive order which demands that the government give preference to U.S. products, services, and people in their procurement proceedings.

With all of this economic fervor swirling around the nation, the so-called Trump Effect is seemingly in full force.  A new report on the state of our unemployed seems to verify that.

“The number of out-of-work people collecting unemployment checks fell to a 17-year low in April, underscoring the strongest U.S. labor market in years.

“So-called continuing jobless claims fell by 49,000 to 1.98 million, marking just the second time they’ve fallen below 2 million during the current eight-year-old economic expansion. Continuing claims also dipped below the 2 million mark in March.

“Initial jobless claims, meanwhile, rose by 10,000 to a still-low 244,000 in the seven days stretching from April 9 to April 15. . The number of new applicants for unemployment benefits has registered less than 300,000 for 111 straight weeks, the longest streak since the early 1970s.”

While many in the liberal media decried Trump’s political inexperience as a bane to his candidacy, the average American seemed to know better.  With Trump, they would not be electing a career politician or Washington insider whose elitist interests would put We The People on the back burner.  Instead, the nation chose to gamble on a political novice whose unwavering love for the nation would propel him to discover new ways to make American great again.

This latest jobs report is just another indicator of Trump’s professional business acumen going to work for the American people.  This is precisely why the liberally-controlled mainstream media has such a difficult time reigning in the Commander in Chief;  he is getting results, and the American citizens are reaping the benefits.  Attacking the President on the tails of these successes would not only be tacky and petty, but would drive a wedge even further between the out of touch media and We The People.
