The same storm that was brewing over Washington D.C. a year ago is now sweeping into the great state of Alabama, where one conservative hero is poised to make history.
Those whipping winds of change are blowing over the straw houses of the republican establishment, who themselves have been tarnished by being willfully beholden to special interest groups and industry magnates. In their place will soon stand a number of true conservative Washington outsiders looking to make their mark on our nation.
Donald Trump was just such a man. Just over a year ago, Americans looked to the unproven Trump to lead our country into a new era of populism and American patriotism. His election was as much a referendum on the state of Washington D.C. as it was a statement against the elitism of democratic diva Hillary Clinton.
Now, in Alabama, the establishment is once again attempting to squash an up and coming Washington outsider with America in his heart. Luckily for that man, Judge Roy Moore, his senate hopes just got a big boost from conservative icons willing to head south to lend a hand.
“Dr. Sebastian Gorka will campaign for Judge Roy Moore here in Montgomery, alongside 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on Thursday evening. Breitbart News first reported that Palin was traveling here to campaign for Moore, and now Gorka confirmed to Breitbart News Tuesday morning that he is also hitting the trail in Alabama for Moore.
“’President Trump told me he is still committed to the original MAGA [Make America Great Again] agenda,’ Gorka, a former deputy assistant to President Donald Trump, who has since left the administration, told Breitbart News on Tuesday morning. ‘We are here to support him in a time when he is surrounded by people who had nothing to do with the success of November 8 and the true MAGA agenda.’
“Gorka added that he plans to back all candidates who are just as anti-establishment as Donald Trump was last year.
“’Donald Trump was the quintessential anti-establishment candidate,’ Gorka said. ‘The right- and left-wing elite are trying to undermine the people’s choice for president. We will work with any American who has had enough of the Swamp’s “business as usual” attitude and their elitist policies.’”
Gorka’s sentiments succinctly sum up a great swath of the American populace, and certainly encapsulate those who are already supporting Judge Moore.
Moore has been repeatedly attacked by the republican establishment over the course of his campaign, with money pouring in from Mitch McConnell-affiliated PAC’s, as well as one completely fabricated statement attributed to Moore that an advertisement ran as fact just last week.
