A North Korean defector and former official of the rogue regime says the country’s economy won’t survive another year.

Former insider of the Pyongyang regime Ri Jong Ho says the new U.N. sanctions are likely to trigger an economic collapse and mass starvation in North Korea.

He says these developments will eventually result in the demise of Kim Jong Un’s’ oppressive rule.

Ri also said North Korea’s major economic partner — China — is irritated with Pyongyang begging for money instead of developing its own economy.

The defected official also pointed out the lack of trust between North Korea and China renders Pyongyang to be more inclined to engage in talks with the U.S.

Meanwhile, North Korea sent a threatening warning to the United Nations ordering member states not to partner with the U.S. in its proposed military action against the regime.

In a written statement released Monday, North Korea’s deputy U.N. ambassador assured U.N. countries they would be safe from retaliation if they refrain from getting involved in Washington’s proposed plan of action.

The statement added, the U.S. mainland is within firing range and if the Trump administration dares to invade its territory Pyongyang will carry out a nuclear strike against the U.S.

Tensions have heightened between the U.S. and the rogue regime as leader Kim Jong Un continues to conduct missile tests.
