A Mandalay Bay security guard suddenly disappears after he was initially hailed a hero for his efforts to stop the Las Vegas gunman.

Jesus Campos’ employers says they have not heard from him in days, and he has not shown up for several scheduled TV interviews.

The Las Vegas gunman allegedly shot and injured Campos moments before he carried out the massacre.

On the day of his disappearance he was scheduled to give his side of the story with MGM officials to clear up confusion about the time frame of the events from that fatal day.

Campos was reportedly last seen entering a local health clinic called UMC Quick Care, however, a spokesperson for the facility said that it has not been confirmed whether or not Campos visited any of their locations.

Armed security guards are stationed outside his home with neighbors and co-workers still unsure of his whereabouts.
