One of the most famous, (or infamous), members of the so-called “resistance” to President Trump has been Detroit hip hop megastar Eminem.

The rapper, who rose to fame in the 1990’s and 2000’s, has long been known for his shocking lyrics and subject matter meant to titillate adolescent minds.  This strategy, combined with his timing as one of the last true superstars from the pre-Napster era, has made Eminem one of the most recognizable faces in modern music, for better or worse.

After his recent stint in rehab for drug addiction, the hip hop lyricist became a vociferously voiced democrat who openly supported the liberal left throughout the tumultuous election of 2016, and has been working endlessly to produce tired and pedantic “freestyles” bashing the President.  These poorly constructed verses, being presented as “off the cuff” verses, have gone predictably viral thanks to the millennial stranglehold on social media.  (Google and Facebook’s massive liberal slant certainly hasn’t hurt, either).

There’s only one problem, according to the rapper:  Donald Trump hasn’t responded to his attacks.

“During his recent interview, Eminem expressed his frustrations with Trump ignoring his BET freestyle. ‘I was and still am extremely angry,’ the ‘Walk on Water’ artist said. ‘I can’t stand that motherf**ker. I feel like he’s not paying attention to me. I was kind of waiting for him to say something and for some reason, he didn’t say anything.’

“It is somewhat surprising Trump didn’t respond to Eminem’s cypher, especially since he is never one to opt out of a social media spat. The five-minute freestyle attacked the president for various reasons, including his racist actions and ignorant banter on social media. ‘And any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his / I’m drawing in the sand a line, you’re either for or against / And if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split / On who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for you with this / F**k you,’ he rapped.”

This pathetic and paltry complaint about the President not paying attention to him has many Americans laughing off the aging hip hop emcee.

Of course, acting as the leader of the free world is a far more time-consuming position than Eminem could likely imagine, given that he has been a multi-millionaire “musician” for the better part of two decades.  The “look at me” attitude of the rapper is also quite indicative of the entire “resistance” movement, lending more than a little desperation to the complaints that he’s making.
