The Director of the CIA is praising President Trump for his tough stance on North Korea.

During an interview Sunday, Mike Pompeo said the president has put tremendous pressure on the rouge nation since he took office.

He believes that pressure has led to Kim Jong Un promising to stop missile testing, and allow exercises by the U.S. and South Korea to continue.

Pompeo added, the U.S. will make no concessions as it relates to a meeting with North Korea, and the CIA chief says what is important is the substance of the talks.

Pompeo went on to say he’s briefed the president almost daily on North Korean threats, and believes he is well equipped to handle a sit-down with Pyongyang’s leader.
