One person is dead and multiple people are injured after a tour bus veered off a major interstate and into a ravine near the Alabama-Florida state line.

Conflicting reports claim up to 20 passengers have been rushed to a nearby hospital in Loxley, Alabama.

Police say at least 45 people were on the bus when it swerved off Interstate 10 and plunged 60 feet into the ravine Tuesday morning.

The tour bus was reportedly traveling back to Texas after a trip to Disney World in Florida.

There is currently no word on the condition of the injured victims.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
