Smugglers continue to abandon illegal immigrants once they cross the border, leaving Border Patrol agents to rescue them.

Last week, agents from the Laredo Station found three immigrants stranded on Texas ranches during severe heat and without food or water. Authorities reportedly needed to administer an IV to one man at the scene who was suffering from severe dehydration. He was later transported to a hospital while the two other immigrants were taken to a Border Patrol station.

So far, at least 200 people have died along the southern border this year.
