The left is again ginning up their hatmongering and calls for violence against political opponents as death threats to Republican Senator Susan Collins and Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s wife show.

While Democrats decry the purported “violent rhetoric” of the right, we once again see that the real hate and violence comes from the political left in America — as it has since the late 1800s.

With the left demonizing Judge Brett Kavanaugh for something that “maybe,” “might,” “could have” happened 35 years ago, liberal foot soldiers are dutifully reacting with the rage, hatred, and violence that we’ve come to expect from the left.

As Daily Caller reports, Judge Kavanaugh’s wife has become the frightened recipient of some of the “more loving, smarter, and more civilized” left’s hatemongering.

The vivid missives are just one iteration of the inflamed rhetoric surrounding Kavanaugh’s nomination to the high court, following Ford’s accusations. The Ford family has similarly been threatened.

“May you, your husband and your kids burn in hell,” one message to Ashley Kavanaugh read.

Another told Mrs. Kavanaugh to put a bullet in her husband’s skull.

The Wall Street Journal obtained the emails on Thursday, which were delivered as federal law enforcement tracks an uptick in threats against Judge Kavanaugh and his family. The messages were sent to Ashley Kavanaugh’s work email address. The U.S. Marshals Service is pursing the matter.

Ashley Kavanaugh is far from the only woman that these cowardly Democrats have been attacking.

Maine GOP Senator Susan Collins has also come in for some vile threats from liberals. A recent story at The Hill newspaper notes that Collins and her staff have taken a number of threatening voicemails, emails, and other types of communiques.

GOP Sen. Susan Collins (Maine), who has been viewed as a key swing vote in the Supreme Court fight, said in a recent interview that her office has received “some pretty ugly voicemails” over Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination.

“My office has received some pretty ugly voicemails, threats, terrible things said to my staff,” Collins said in an interview with WVOM on Wednesday.

“This has been a very ugly process and I think that’s very unfortunate for everyone involved,” Collins added.

Collins made the remarks while discussing threats Kavanaugh has received since President Trump nominated him to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy on the Supreme Court. She also discussed threats made to Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who has come forward with accusations of sexual assault against Kavanaugh. Collins stressed she does not “equate” threats she has received to Ford’s.

Collins said in the interview that Kavanaugh “has received some threats and goodness knows” as the battle over his nomination kicks into high gear. But she also weighed in on reports stating that Ford had been forced out of her home due to death threats after her newly disclosed allegations against the Supreme Court nominee were made public.

Collins’ aides have also reported this troubling situation. A few days ago, Steve Abbot, Collins’s chief of staff, told a Maine TV station that, “We’ve had some very abusive callers. … We’ve had some very vulgar calls and sort of harassing the staff.”

Of course, as a Senator, Collins will have a say in whether or not Brett Kavanaugh gets an up or down vote to become out next Supreme Court Justice. So, naturally liberals want to threaten her to try and intimidate her to vote their way on the judge.

As is their wont, liberals employ violence to get their way.

But it isn’t just the loyal and dangerous James T. Hodgkinsons that are threatening Republicans or at least excusing the vile rhetoric being deployed against them. Democrat “lawmakers” also indulge in this outrageous behavior.

This week, California Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell was forced to apologize when he dismissed the death threats against Collins with a childish “boo hoo hoo.”

On Thursday, Swalwell jumped to his Twitter account to attack the Republican Senator who will be n a position to vote for or against Judge Brett Kavanaugh for the U.S. Supreme Court.

The congressman’s tweet referenced a story by The Hill that reported the threats Collins has received:

“My office has received some pretty ugly voicemails, threats, terrible things said to my staff,” Collins said in an interview with WVOM on Wednesday.

“We’ve had some very abusive callers. … We’ve had some very vulgar calls and sort of harassing the staff,” Steve Abbot, Collins’s chief of staff, told a Maine TV station at the time.

Collins has told the media that she and her staff have been subjected to a growing number of threats for her stated positions on Judge Kavanaugh. To that, Swalwell said “boo hoo.”

“Boo hoo hoo. You’re a senator who police will protect,” Swalwell said dismissively in his now deleted tweet. “A sexual assault victim can’t sleep in her home tonight because of threats. Where are you sleeping? She’s on her own while you and your Senate GOP colleagues try to rush her through a hearing.”

This is indicative of the way that liberal Democrats treat Republican women as not being “real” women. They treat Republican women as if being Republican cancels their being women. And so, since they are “just Republicans,” Democrats see no reason not to commit violence against them.

It is just another example of how Democrats pretend to be “for women” but aren’t really at all if a woman happens to disagree with the left’s political agenda. It is a woman’s ideology that Democrats care about, not their inherent gender.

But it wasn’t long before even his liberal fans began slamming the congressman for dismissing threats of violence against a woman.

Soon, Swalwell deleted the tweet apologizing for his boorishness but claiming he was not dismissing violence… even though he did exactly that.
