President Trump has revoked the security clearance of former Obama-era CIA Director John Brennan.

During Wednesday’s White House briefing, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed Brennan’s access was now void.

She said the administration made the decision due to Brennan’s history of alleged misuse of classified information and false testimony.

Sanders also said President Trump plans to review intelligence access for other former officials. This list of names included James Comey, James Clapper, Susan Rice, Michael Hayden and Peter Strzok.

She also said the move is not politically motivated and is warranted by the president’s constitutional authority to protect national intelligence.
