President Trump affirmed the utmost confidence with his legal team tasked with handling the ongoing Russia investigation.
In a recent tweet, President Trump referenced lawyers John Dowd, Ty Cobb, and Jay Sekulow, saying they are doing an exemplary job in representing him throughout Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe.

Cobb has taken the lead role as an intermediary between Mueller and President Trump’s legal team.
The experienced D.C.-based lawyer recently stated the mainstream media has been creating false, sensational pretenses during the investigation.
“Well, he’s responding to the multiple reports of collusion which is a, basically a term that the media has popularized and has sort of colored this investigation,” said Cobb.
Meanwhile, the president tweeted his assertion following a dubious article which claims he plans to hire an attorney who represented Bill Clinton during the impeachment process in the late nineties.
President Trump further refuted claims of collusion, and said the only collusion with Russia was done by failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
…have shown conclusively that there was no Collusion with Russia..just excuse for losing. The only Collusion was that done by the DNC, the Democrats and Crooked Hillary. The writer of the story, Maggie Haberman, a Hillary flunky, knows nothing about me and is not given access.

He added, the writer of the inflammatory article knows next to nothing about his character and does not have access presumably to the White House.
