Yates’s testimony shocked many observers because she threw James Comey and the FBI under the bus on multiple occasions.

Patriot Pulse

Former FBI Director James Comey thought he was going to get away with the political crime of the century.

But now Comey is sweating bullets.

And that’s because James Comey found out one former ally betrayed him in the most unbelievable way.

Former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee about the origins of the Russian collusion probe.

Yates’s testimony shocked many observers because she threw James Comey and the FBI under the bus on multiple occasions.

First, she agreed that Comey went “rogue” by not coordinating with the administration on having the FBI interview former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn at the White House.

Yates said it upset her when she learned the FBI was investigating Flynn’s call with the Russian ambassador at an Oval Office meeting and not from the FBI itself.

“I was upset that Director Comey didn’t coordinate that with us and acted unilaterally,” Yates told the committee.

“Did Comey go rogue?” Graham asked Yates.

“You could use that term, yes,” Yates responded.

Yates also threw the FBI under the bus for using the fake news Christopher Steele dossier to spy on former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.

The former Deputy Attorney General admitted she never would have signed the warrant application to spy on Page had she known then what she knows now about the Steele dossier being a garbage document filled with hoaxes and falsehoods.

“If I had known that it contained incorrect information, I certainly wouldn’t have signed it,” Yates testified.

Yates’ testimony increases pressure on United States Attorney John Durham to deliver indictments in his investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion probe.

And these latest developments only increase the calls that Comey be included in any criminal charges.
