24-year old Austin Clay was accused of destroying the star with a pickaxe in back July.
He was facing the possibility of three-years in prison, but instead a judge sentenced him to one-day in a county jail followed by three-years of probation.
Clay was also ordered to work 20-days of community service, see a psychologist, and pay the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce more than $9,000.
