President Trump is meeting with the governor of California to survey the damage left by wildfires, and to boost morale among firefighters.

The president will touch down Saturday to meet with both Jerry Brown and Governor-elect Gavin Newsom.

Brown has praised President Trump for taking quick action in approving disaster relief funding, saying its time to pull together the people of California.

His remarks come as fire officials confirm the death toll has risen to 74 people statewide, after deputies found eight more bodies on Friday.

However officials are informing the public, the list of missing people is fluid, and could easily contain duplicate names, after the list hit a thousand names Friday night.

“We will be talking about forest management. I’ve been saying for a long time. This could have been a lot different situation but one thing is that everyone knows that this is what we have to be doing and there’s no question about it. But I think everyone is on the right side. It’s a big issue.” -President Trump

The White House has not released the specifics of the trip, but officials said President Trump will tour damaged property and meet with first responders.
