President Trump visited the Supreme Court to attend the ceremonial swearing-in for new Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

The ceremony took place Thursday after the president met with the justices on the highest court.

Chief Justice John Roberts administered the oath during the ceremony, which lasted roughly ten minutes.

Others in attendance included Chief of Staff John Kelly, Senator Mitch McConnell, acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

Kavanaugh is the president’s second Supreme Court pick since he took office after he nominated Neil Gorsuch during his first year.
