“A stunning contrast” is how media experts have described press treatment for Joe Biden and President Trump during the early days of their respective administrations. According to a recent study by a conservative watchdog company, Biden dominated around 18 percent of NBC, ABC and CBS’s air time over his first 79 days and received 56 percent positive coverage.

This was in contrast to the exponentially larger amount of time dedicated to painting President Trump in a negative light, as Media Matters found he received 89 percent negative coverage with an overwhelming amount focused on the so-called Russian collusion.

On January 27, CNN kicked off President Trump’s first term with an article titled: “How Donald Trump Changed the Presidency in Seven Days.” The article claimed the 45th President’s voters “sent him to Washington to blow things up” and his “presidency was already built on creative destruction.”

The watchdog group stressed, this unprecedented hostility has highlighted the mainstream media’s shameless bias toward the Biden administration, which is a sentiment echoed by Republican leaders.

In recent remarks, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) said it is “shameful” that the mainstream media is teaching viewers to loathe Republicans and getting our nation “addicted to hate.”
