There is no doubt that the American mainstream media is overwhelmingly biased, but it is always refreshing to see a liberal rag called to the carpet for their antics.
We are living in a time of great enlightenment, as far as media matters are concerned. Thanks to the internet, the world is becoming a much smaller place, and vigilantes such as Julian Assange and Edward Snowden have bestowed upon our society an incredibly important transparency at the crossroads of politics and perception.
This awakening has led to a number of “news” sources being outed as shills for the establishment on which they report. Specifically, in America, there are two offenders that stand alone in their liberal bias: CNN and the New York Times.
CNN’s hard left stance on all things has been apparent for years, providing the platform with the always entertaining nickname of the “Clinton News Network”.
The New York Times, however, has attempted, feebly, to maintain some semblance of balance in their outward persona while still suckling at the teat of the democratic party. Now, investigative journalists at Project Veritas have been able to capture definitive proof of the long-running paper’s internal antics, and they are sharing that evidence with the world via undercover video.
“In the video, which seems to have been filmed in a pub, the Times‘ London-based homepage editor, Desiree Shoe, is seen describing Trump as an ‘oblivious idiot.’ She does not care for Trump’s potential replacement, either, describing Pence as ‘f**king horrible … possibly worse than Trump’ because, she says, he is ‘extremely religious.’
“Shoe, who is seen describing her job as curating the Times‘ front pages, also describes the approach of American journalists towards covering Trump during the 2016 election: ‘I think that one of the things that maybe journalists were thinking about is, like, “Oh, if we write about him, about how, like, insanely crazy he is and how ludicrous his policies are, then maybe people will read about it and be, like, ‘Oh, wow, like, we shouldn’t vote for him.’” In her description, the Times‘ front page is used to set the media narrative against Trump.
“She also is shown describing President Trump as ‘apologetic toward white supremacists’ due to his response to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, earlier this year, and says that Trump makes it difficult for journalists to be objective and unbiased.”
Shoe’s beliefs are not surprising, but her willingness to simply admit them is not only shocking, but appalling as well.
There has been a concerted effort on the part of the mainstream media to defile and defame President Trump at the expense of the American people and their prosperity. The left and their media minions have taken the route of chaotic and maniacal maneuvers that threaten to forever tarnish the office of the President. By treating Trump as a sub-human Commander in Chief, the left has only set themselves up for future failure if and when a democrat or other leftist ever becomes President again.
