As Democrats tsk tsk and pretend that they never heard anything so terrible as the fake assault charges filed against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh by a long-time Democrat Party apparatchik, the same people are wholly ignoring even worse charges of sexual assault that have been filed against one of their own.
To recap the charges against Kavanaugh, the woman, who is a long-time, left-wing activist, claims she all of a sudden “remembered” that Brett Kavanaugh committed “attempted rape” against her way back 35 years ago when they were both teenaged high school students.
Here are the bullet points of her charges:
- She can’t remember where the attack happened
- She can’t remember exactly when the attack happened
- She has no — not one — witness to back up her story
- She never reported any such assault in the early 1980s when she thinks it happened
- There are no photos or any corroborating evidence
- Her story has changed several times already from 5 people in the room to only three
- None of the people who know either the judge or this accuser remembers any such incident
That’s it. Basically, all we have is her hazy claim that Kavanaugh attacked her 35 years ago. And she has not one shred of evidence to prove it.
For his part, Judge Kavanaugh (and over 200 women who have come to his support) says that this accusation is a “completely false allegation.”
Yet, to a person, every Democrat says this woman has “credible accusations” against Kavanaugh and that he must not be confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court because of it.
But, this whole political stunt — and that is all it is because this woman is clearly lying for personal gain — is an exercise in hypocrisy for the Democrats. After all, if they really cared about sexual abuse they would already have destroyed one of their own, Minnesota Democrat Kieth Ellison.
In fact, Ellison has far worse, far more detailed accusations lodged against him, and yet not a single voice in the Democrat Party is calling for him to step down from Congress and from his campaign to become Minnesota’s Attorney General.
Claims of domestic abuse have been filed against Ellison by ex-girlfriend, Karen Monahan. But there are also 911 calls from another ex-girlfriend from a different incident of domestic abuse.
Unlike with the accusations brought against Kavanaugh, in the accusations against Ellison there is a whole basketful of evidence, witnesses, and proof.
The charges against Ellison contain multiple witnesses, police records, 911 call recordings, photos of injuries, and two different victims. That is a lot to pretend does not exist, but Democrats are doing a fine job ignoring all the charges against Ellison, nonetheless.
Where Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasy Ford has just her word for the attack, Ellison’s ex-girlfriend even has testimony of her son.
According to Monahan’s son Austin, Ellison allegedly put their mother through “pure hell,” writing:
In the middle of 2017, I was using my moms computer trying to download something and I clicked on a file, I found over 100 text and twitters messages and video almost 2 min long that showed Keith Ellison dragging my mama off the bed by her feet, screaming and calling her a “fucking bitch” and telling her to get the fuck out of his house. The messages I found, were mixed with him consistently telling my mom he wanted her back, he missed her, he knew he fucked up and we wished he could do things different, he would victim shaming, bully her, and threaten her if she went public. I text him and told him I know what you did to my mama and a few other things.
I met up with my mom that night and asked her what happened. She said nothing happened until I told her I saw a video and hell of a lot of messages saying something different. She finally talked. My brother and I were so angry and hurt for our mom. We were ready to go public but our mom begged us not to and she along with others convinced us it wasn’t in our moms best interest.
Monahan confirmed her children’s reports on Twitter, writing:
What my son said is true. Every statement he made was true.@keithellison, you know you did that to me. I have given every opportunity to get help and heal. Even now, u r willing to say my son is lying and have me continue to leak more text and info just so others will believe him.
For you to get help and heal. Told u that would be what I would could consider a Just ending to this hell my family and I have been through. I said that the night before u announced ur run 4 Attny Gen.
Recently Monahan produced medical records showing that she reported the abuse in 2017:
The ex-girlfriend accusing Democratic Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison of domestic abuse told her doctor in 2017 about alleged “emotional and physical abuse” from Ellison, according to a document the woman published Wednesday.
Karen Monahan’s account in the doctor’s report is consistent with what she has been saying publicly since August: that Ellison was emotionally and physically abusive to her while the two were dating.
Ellison is the deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and is the Democratic nominee for Minnesota attorney general. He has adamantly denied emotionally or physically abusing Monahan. (RELATED: Ellison To Accuser: ‘We Don’t Have To Destroy Each Other’)
“She states that she was in a very stressful environment for years, emotional and physical abuse by a partner with whom she is now separated,” reads the November 2017 report, a picture of which Monahan posted on Twitter.
“She did not have any physical injuries that required an examination in the past. She identifies the individual she was involved with as congressman Ellison, and she is worried about retribution if she identifies him publicly,” the report states.
All of this is by many magnitudes more credible than anything that Christine Blasy Ford has come up with against Kavanaugh.
Yet, not a single Democrat has come forward to say that Ellison should withdraw from the Minn. AG’s race and that he should resign from Congress.
This is proof positive that Ford’s attack on Kavanaugh is not about “justice” or about “sexual assault.” It is just a naked political ploy. After all, if Democrats cared about justice and sexual assault, Ellison would have been long gone by now.
So, what is the real game? Democrats are playing this un-American, destructive, and cynical game because they assume they are about to win control of the House and Senate in 2018 and then the presidency in 2020. With that base assumption at play, they intend to stall any and every Supreme Court nominee that Trump could make until he “loses” his re-election bid in 2020. Then, they can put in another extremist, left-wing justice in Kavanaugh’s seat. And they don’t care how many rules they have to break or lies they have to tell in the mean time.
