Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly Slam Media For Branding Democrats As America’s ‘New Daddy Figures’

Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson and Sirius XM’s Megyn Kelly slammed the Democratic Party and the media Thursday for branding the Harris-Walz ticket as America’s mom and dad.

Kelly pointed out that Democrats and the media are trying to style 2024 Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris as “Momala” and her running mate, Tim Walz as “America’s dad.” Carlson hysterically laughed while saying, “That’s so sick.”

“These Democrats, like, really seriously looking for new parent figures in the absence of good ones of their own, I suppose. And I do wonder, like, what’s wrong with us? Because most of us don’t need new parents and aren’t looking to some politician to step into the breach,” Kelly said.

Kelly told Carlson that Walz, unlike former President Donald Trump and his running mate J.D. Vance, lacks masculinity. She cited comments from CNN’s Dana Bash who said late Wednesday that Democrats are propping up Walz and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff to appeal to men “who might not be the sort of testosterone-laden, gun-toting kind of guy.”

“Doug Emhoff? His daughter comes out on stage, and again, I’m trying not to be mean, but I look at Doug Emhoff’s daughter — miserable, covered in tattoos — anyone who has a daughter like that should not have political power. Because you’ve messed up enough. Do you know what I mean?” Carlson said.

“I do think that your personal life really matters,” the Daily Caller co-founder continued. “If you do t have a spouse who loves and respects you, if you don’t have children who love and respect you, I feel sorry for you. But you definitely can’t have control over my life because you have not done a good job.”

Kelly mentioned Politico’s Wednesday headline calling Emhoff the “Dad-in-Chief.” Disgusted, she recalled Emhoff’s extramarital affair with the nanny of his kids — who he allegedly impregnated.

“This guy who cheated on his first wife by banging the nanny, impregnating her, and there was either an abortion or an abdomen child. And they actually want us to swallow him as our dad,” Kelly stated. “You know what? My dad was a good dad. He never cheated on my mom, who never impregnated another person, who never had an abortion with an affair — you go down the list. This is sick! Why are they looking at these men as like, their new daddy figures?”

Carlson told Kelly that Democrats view the party as important above everything else — even if that means ratting out family members for disobeying orders.

“The party itself is more important than any single person. The individual doesn’t matter — it’s the collective,” Carlson said. “And, that collective, in their view, should replace everything else. And should be subject of your first and primary loyalty.”

“But this is my one insight — which I do think is true — I have no idea if he does endorse Trump, and these are two big personalities, so I’ll kind of believe it when I see it. But if that happens tomorrow, I think it’ll help Trump, probably — I don’t really know. But I know for a fact that Bobby running third party would hurt Trump because there is a big overlap in their voters,” Carlson said.

“It’s not on all the issues, they disagree on a bunch of issues, but anyone who thinks the current system is corrupt is not voting for Kamala Harris because she is of course the physical embodiment of corruption,” Carlson continued. “So you’re voting for Bobby Kennedy or Donald Trump, that’s the bottom line. So I think if he stayed in the race, it would definitely hurt Trump.”
