The prime minister of a nation long allied to the better interests of the United States, Pakistan, has said that the U.S. and Iran have agreed on the final text of an agreement that would end the Iran war, which erupted over that nation’s demands for nuclear weapons and threats to the rest of the world.

A report at Just the News confirms, “Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Friday that the United States and Iran have agreed to a framework for the peace deal that would end the months-long conflict in the Middle East.”

Pakistan has been helping with negotiations over the Iranian war, and there have been numerous reports in recent weeks of an agreement, only to have Iran reject that confirmation. In just recent days, Trump has said that the document is nearing completion.

“Amid ongoing intense mediation efforts by Pakistan, we are fully aware of incessant misinformation campaign being waged by those who want to sabotage the peace deal,” Sharif posted on X. “We can confirm that a final, agreed upon text of the peace deal has been reached and Pakistan is now working closely with both sides to finalize the next steps. Peace has never been this close as it is now.”

WorldNetDaily has reported on Trump’s ire over false reports from Iranian media about the contents of an agreement.

He had canceled planned strikes on Iran just days ago because of the looming deal.

He said then on social media, “Based on the fact that discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran have been brought to the highest level of Iranian leadership and approved, I have, as President of the United States of America, cancelled the scheduled strikes and bombings against Iran this evening.”

However, what followed was a series of leaks from Iran’s media about the details, and Trump blasted them for being inaccurate.

“The terms that Iran leaked out to the Fake News have NOTHING to do with the terms that were agreed to, in writing. What they said, including their weak and pathetic statement on having a deal, bears no relation to the truth. Very dishonorable people to deal with. With them, there is no such thing as dealing in good faith. AMAZING! Also, their totally rebuffed Drone attack last night against Indian Ships leaving the Hormuz Strait is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. They better get their act together, and FAST!” he wrote.

Media in Iran had shared what were claimed to be details, citing claims that Iran would make no commitment regarding the transfer of the management of the Strait of Hormuz. That purportedly would be decided “through dialogue and joint decision-making between Iran and Oman,” the reports alleged, according to Fox.

Further there were claims that talks about the future of Iran’s nuclear program would take place within a 60-day period after the agreement is signed.

Analysts have suggested Iran’s deep-seated intransigence stems from internal conflicts between power groups inside the rogue Islamic regime, ranging from those who still want to use nuclear weapons to threaten, even destroy, other nations, and those whose concerns lie more toward the economic, social and military problems it faces.

When Trump called off the planned strikes based on a pending agreement, state media in Iran hedged, saying that officials there did not have a “text” of an agreement.

Trump had said, “Discussions and final points have been, in both concept and great detail, approved by all parties involved, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others. The Naval Blockade will remain in full force and effect until this Transaction is finalized — Time and place of the signing to be announced shortly.”

Trump’s claim for a resolution to be at hand came just hours after he suggested the U.S. would seize Kharg Island’s oil depot and strike Iran “very hard.”

There had been multiple strikes on Iranian interests over recent days, after Trump promised a response to Iran’s decision to shoot down a U.S. helicopter.
