Jesus is Love. Every moment we choose love, we choose Him.
REFLECTION
How often do we overcomplicate our spiritual journey? We search for grand gestures, dramatic revelations, or perfect moments of worship, all while missing the simple truth that sits at the heart of everything: Jesus is love itself. Not that He simply embodies love or teaches about love—He is love. This means that every single time we extend kindness to a stranger, offer forgiveness when we’ve been hurt, or choose patience in a frustrating moment, we are literally choosing Christ. We are inviting His presence into that very moment.
Think about your day yesterday. When you smiled at the overwhelmed parent in the grocery store, when you held your tongue instead of snapping back in anger, when you listened—really listened—to someone who needed to be heard, you were choosing Jesus. These aren’t just nice actions or good deeds to check off a list. They are sacred moments of alignment with the divine nature of Christ Himself. Every choice for love, no matter how small it seems, is a choice for Him. And in a world that often feels chaotic and divided, this is incredibly empowering. We don’t have to wait for Sunday morning or a quiet prayer closet to connect with Jesus. He is available to us in every interaction, every decision, every breath.
The beauty of this truth is that it transforms ordinary life into holy ground. Your workplace becomes a sanctuary. Your home becomes a temple. Your daily commute becomes an opportunity for worship through how you treat others on the road. When we understand that choosing love is choosing Jesus, we realize that our entire life can be an ongoing conversation with Him. Not through words alone, but through actions, through choices, through the countless moments when we decide: Will I respond with love or with fear? With grace or with judgment? With compassion or with indifference? Each moment is an invitation, and each choice for love is a “yes” to His presence in our lives.

Is it in a difficult relationship, a frustrating situation, or perhaps in how you speak to yourself? Remember, every moment you choose love, you are choosing Him—and He is always, always choosing you.
