“Connections between Colombian socialist rebels and Venezuela are proven at three levels: they cooperate with high-level officials of the Maduro regime, they enjoy operational support by Venezuelan state security institutions, and they have personnel ties to the pro-Maduro colectivo militias,” stated Trujillo.

The Colombian minister said the ties between the Maduro regime and Colombian rebels pose a “criminal threat” to democracy and the rule of law.
