Way to brainwash transgender militancy into a key branch of the military.
And little wonder that so many Democrats are so vehemently against DOGE, given that the operation is discovering all types of fraudulent waste that appears amazingly worse than expected.
Such as “DEI friendly” programs in the military that brainwash soldiers into discussing transgender militancy as an apparent top concern.
According to an exclusive report from the Daily Mail, the Air Force is apparently guilty of blowing taxpayer funds on “a multi-million dollar virtual reality project that taught soldiers how to have ‘difficult conversations.’”
That’s nice. Yet another total waste of taxpayers’ hard-earned sums.
Apparently, one of the most important tasks for military servicemen to master was recognition of “unconscious bias” and working on a more “inclusive” service.
Because those aptitudes really matter the most on the battlefield.
Naturally, such an emphasis was clear during the Biden-Harris administration, specifically in a 2021 press release from the White House, which argued in favor of an “inclusive” military.
“President Biden believes that gender identity should not be a bar to military service, and that America’s strength is found in its diversity. America is stronger, at home and around the world, when it is inclusive,” the White House asserted at the time.
Priorities, priorities.
“The Air Force’s Air Education and Training Command handed out a staggering $2.3 million contract to create a virtual reality experience where soldiers would deal with an avatar that would help them speak and act in a DEI-friendly way,” the Daily Mail observed.
Yet more funds wasted right within the United States. Imagine how they are wasted overseas …
The program was apparently referred to as L.I.V.E., to stand for “Leading Inclusively Virtual Experience,” yet another brainchild of a woke academic.
“‘Leading Inclusively Virtual Experience’ program used virtual reality ‘to challenge individuals to engage in difficult diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) conversations,’” the official website detailed.
Wonderful. Now it’s “DEIA” instead of “DEI.” Kind of like how “LGB” became “LGBT” then “LGBTQ” and a host of other inane combinations.
Something suggests those “DEIA” conversations will not serve soldiers well on the battlefield.
Not that the glib organizers of L.I.V.E. appear aware of that.
“When you participate in a L.I.V.E. session, you immerse yourself in a safe, but brave space to practice addressing exclusion using realistic scenarios based on Airmen and Guardian experiences. When entering a brave space Airmen and Guardians accept a level of discomfort when discussing personal perspectives and experiences, but know they are safe to share because the respect and dignity given by their fellow Airmen and Guardians,” a L.I.V.E. brochure declared.
How about ensuring basic physical safety, first and foremost? Basic safety for all, regardless of any differences? Just a thought?
“This program allows the participants to have a conversation that are both realistic and difficult. It uses a virtual avatar that are controlled by trained actors,” an Air Force soldier declared in a video testimonial.
Great. Way for Big Tech to profit off the military … again.
The advertisement was sure to feature a soldier who sung the glories of interactions with an avatar, highlighting more absurdities.
“[The VR program] is just another way that the Air and Space Force are innovating and staying one step ahead of a time when we have difficult conversations!” the soldier chirped.
Right. Nothing says military trained like conversations with a virtual avatar about DEI matters.
Little wonder that the White House has promptly squashed that nonsense.
“DOGE has canceled a $2.3mm contract with the Air Force’s University for the ‘profession of arms center of excellence unconscious bias mixed reality service,’” a senior White House official flatly remarked.
About darn time …
