The Israel Defense Force (IDF) have found yet another “terror tunnel” connecting Lebanon to the Jewish State.

In a statement Tuesday, the Israeli military confirmed the discovery of a third tunnel, which was allegedly being used by Islamic terror group Hezbollah to attack the Jewish state. According to officials, the tunnel is the smallest so far yet it still poses danger to public safety in Israel.

The discovery comes as part of the ongoing Israeli crackdown on Hezbollah’s terror infrastructure.

The IDF said the Lebanese governments will be held accountable for harboring “Islamic terror” in its territory.

“We just exposed the third tunnel, we are systematically dismantling the ‘tunnel weapons,” stated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “Our military is ready for a strong response if Hezbollah makes a big mistake and decides to harm us or to resist to the operation we are conducting — Hezbollah will be hit in such a way that they cannot even imagine.”

The Israeli military said their operation against Hezbollah in Northern Israel will continue for as long as it takes to eliminate all threats to public safety.
