Russian cyber security company Kaspersky Lab is opening itself up for review in an attempt to be more transparent.

The company’s CEO said they have nothing to hide, and will allow independent parties to review their source code.

This comes after it was announced last month Russian hackers may have used Kaspersky’s software to infiltrate the NSA, and steal information regarding American intelligence.

The possibilities of Russian spies and Kremlin influenced cyber hijackers have raised concerns regarding national security threats.

Although Kaspersky has denied those claims, the Trump administration has banned government agencies from using Kaspersky products to avoid any further breaches.
