REFLECTION
How often do we find ourselves navigating life’s complexities with everything except love? We rely on logic, fear, ambition, or the expectations of others to make our decisions. We chart our course by what seems practical or safe, forgetting that there’s a far more powerful compass available to us. When we allow love to guide us—genuine, Spirit-filled love—we discover a dimension of living that transcends mere existence and touches the eternal.
Living fully in the Spirit doesn’t mean escaping the challenges of daily life. It means facing them with love as our constant companion and counselor. When a difficult conversation looms, love guides us toward truth spoken with grace. When we’re exhausted and tempted to withdraw, love reminds us that connection matters more than comfort. When we’re hurt and want to retaliate, love shows us a better way—one that heals rather than harms. This isn’t weakness; it’s the most courageous way to live.
The beautiful truth is that love never leads us astray. It may lead us to uncomfortable places—to forgiveness we don’t feel ready to give, to service that costs us something, to vulnerability that feels risky. But love always, always leads us toward life in its fullest expression. When we follow love’s guidance, we find ourselves becoming more fully human, more fully alive, more fully the people we were created to be. This is the life Jesus modeled for us, and it’s the life He invites us into every single day.

Take a moment today to ask yourself: Am I letting love guide my decisions, my words, my actions? Where might I be relying on fear, pride, or self-protection instead of allowing the Spirit’s love to show me the way forward?
