When we open our hearts to Jesus, we open ourselves to infinite love.
REFLECTION
How often do we go through our days with our hearts guarded, protected by walls we’ve built from past hurts, disappointments, and fears? We carry these shields thinking they keep us safe, but what they really do is keep us small. They keep us separated from the very thing we need most—the boundless, transformative love that Jesus offers freely to each of us. This passage reminds us that opening our hearts isn’t a risk; it’s an invitation to experience something far greater than our pain.
When we choose to open our hearts to Jesus, we’re not just accepting a religious concept or following a set of rules. We’re stepping into a relationship with infinite love itself—a love that knows no boundaries, holds no grudges, and never runs out. This is the love that sees us completely, knows our deepest struggles, and still calls us beloved. It’s the love that meets us in our messiest moments and whispers, “You are mine, and you are enough.” In a world that constantly tells us we need to earn love, prove our worth, or hide our flaws, Jesus offers something radically different: unconditional acceptance.
The beautiful truth is that this infinite love doesn’t just comfort us—it transforms us. When we allow Jesus’s love to fill our hearts, it overflows into every area of our lives. We find ourselves more patient with difficult people, more forgiving of ourselves, more hopeful in hard times. We discover strength we didn’t know we had and peace that doesn’t make logical sense. This is what happens when finite, fearful hearts connect with infinite, fearless love. We become conduits of that same love to a world desperately in need of it.
THIS SPEAKS TO ME BECAUSE…
Today, I invite you to ask yourself: What walls have I built around my heart, and am I ready to let Jesus’s love break through them? Where in my life do I need to experience the infinite nature of His love—love that never runs dry, never gives up, and always makes a way?
