Federal judges in Seattle, after Democrats blocked President Donald Trump’s choice to be U.S. attorney there, picked their own candidate, a Democrat, Roger Rogoff.
He reported for work Wednesday.
And within 30 minutes, was fired.
Trump’s pick, Neil Floyd, now remains the de facto U.S. attorney in the district.
Democrat Roger Floyd is not.

A Gateway Pundit commentary said it was a “panel of rogue district court judges” who launched their scheme.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche explained how the system works: “District court judges can appoint a temporary U.S. Attorney, and POTUS can fire them. WDWA judges abandoned the time-honored process of consultation with the administration so that the selected U.S. Attorney is qualified…”

The Department of Justice confirmed Rogoff was told, “The President of the United States has directed that I inform you that, pursuant to his authority under 28 U.S.C. 541(c) and Article II of the Constitution, you are hereby removed from the office of the United States Attorney for the Western District of Washington.”
Rogoff immediately threatened “all of our legal options.”
Rogoff, a Democrat, earlier was given a jub as King Conty superior court judge by former Gov. Jay Inslee, another Democrat
