## TODAY’S PASSAGE
From “Voice Of Jesus 2” by Michael Canfield:
You were willing – fully willing – to accept help. That willingness allowed a channel to open. Together, we stopped Justin’s fall and placed him safely on the ground. After Mazatlán, your focus shifted to success: the Kent Motel, your sailboat on Lake Tahoe and the little Mooney airplane you loved – productive distractions that kept your mind occupied. You began seeking deeper spiritual understanding. You had already explored many esoteric practices – astral travel, yoga, altered states of consciousness – but you had not yet centered yourself in the light and love demonstrated by Jesus while on Earth. From here forward, your spiritual studies would shift toward the teachings of Jesus – not as doctrine, but as lived truth.
## REFLECTION
There’s something profoundly beautiful about the phrase “fully willing to accept help.” How often do we struggle alone, convinced we must handle everything ourselves? This passage reveals a sacred truth: our willingness—our simple openness to receive—creates a channel for divine intervention. When we finally release our grip on control and say “yes” to help, miracles become possible. Justin didn’t fall that day because someone was willing to partner with heaven. That same partnership is available to each of us, every single day.
We all have our “productive distractions”—the boats, the businesses, the busy-ness that keeps our minds occupied and our hearts protected. There’s nothing wrong with success or enjoying life’s pleasures, but this passage gently asks: what are we distracting ourselves from? Sometimes we fill our lives with activity because sitting still means facing the deeper questions. We explore countless spiritual practices, read endless books, and seek understanding everywhere except the one place that matters most: centering ourselves in love. Real love. The kind Jesus demonstrated—not as religious performance, but as radical, transformative presence.
The shift described here is revolutionary: moving from spiritual seeking to spiritual being. From doctrine to lived truth. From knowledge about love to becoming love itself. You can study astral travel, master meditation techniques, and explore altered consciousness, but until you root yourself in the simple, powerful love that Jesus embodied, you’re still searching. The invitation isn’t to abandon your journey or dismiss what you’ve learned—it’s to finally come home. To let love be both the question and the answer. To stop seeking and start living the truth you’ve always known in your heart.
## THIS SPEAKS TO ME BECAUSE…
How willing are you—truly, fully willing—to accept help today? What “productive distractions” might be keeping you from centering yourself in love? Perhaps it’s time to shift from seeking spiritual experiences to living spiritual truth, allowing Jesus’s demonstration of love to become not just something you study, but something you are.
