Establishment Republicans and mainstream media personalities like Fox News’ Laura Ingraham have backed away from President Donald Trump’s continuing legal fight to overturn the results of the 2020 general election.

“As unpleasant and disappointing as these past three weeks have been to so many of us, as much as we wish things were different, this is where things stand tonight,” Ingraham said on her show Monday.

“Now, legal challenges continue in a number of states. Serious questions about vote counting, poll-watcher access, are outstanding,” she said. “But unless the legal situation changes in a dramatic, and frankly an unlikely manner, Joe Biden will be inaugurated on January 20.”

Trump has refused to concede — and the president’s most loyal supporters are pushing back.

They’re not willing to give up the legal battle; instead, they demand Trump continue to contest the results of the 2020 election.

And if Republicans don’t help the president, they’ll be punished. Trump supporters say they’ll abandon the establishment Republicans when they’re needed most: In the upcoming Georgia senate election.

Trump supporter and lawyer Lin Wood, for example, is demanding Republicans like Georgia’s Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger help in Trump’s increasingly desperate legal fights in their state — or else they’ll abandon the Republican Party completely.

Help Trump, Wood warns, or we’ll boycott the upcoming senate runoff to punish the establishment.

The critical two elections in Georgia in early January could decide control of the senate for the next president.

Sen. Kelly Loeffler is facing Democrat Raphael Warnock in a Jan. 5 runoff election — one of two races that will determine which party has control of the Senate. The other race features Sen. David Perdue and Democrat Jon Ossoff.

Wood is not alone. Some social media personalities are calling for voters to write-in Trump’s name, or to skip the election all together to show their anger with establishment Republicans.

The plan is to suppress turnout and force a recount of the runoff. These supporters think that, with more time, the Trump legal team will be able to prove the mass voter fraud claims they have yet to submit evidence of in a court of law. These mass voter fraud claims, they believe, could overturn the results of the 2020 election.

“Any Republican who allows this to happen is complicit, and we will finish you,” a speaker said at a recent “Stop the Steal” rally in Georgia. “For any Republicans not explicitly helping Trump to ‘stop the steal,’ we will make sure you are never elected ever again.”

Juanita Broaddrick, who credibly accused former President Bill Clinton of violent rape, went a step further.

She said Trump should form his own “MAGA Party” because the Republican Party isn’t worthy of his help any longer.
