A resurfaced video clip of California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s wife telling prison inmates they probably committed their violent crimes by “accident” is being hammered by top names on the political right, including Hollywood star James Woods who says Jennifer Siebel Newsom is “an even more dreadful monster than her vile, dangerous, deranged husband.”

The clip from 2016 shows Newsom’s wife discussing her own accidental killing of her 8-year-old sister with a golf cart while vacationing in Hawaii in 1981.

Mrs. Newsom said of the San Quentin inmates she was interviewing for her documentary, “The Mask You Live In”: “I told them about my own loss, where I lost my older sister a few days before my seventh birthday, and I blame myself for her death.”

“I share that because they were ultimately accused of committing these violent crimes and sentenced for life, and I think it shocked them that this blonde lady who was interviewing them had a similar story. It was perhaps in the wrong place at the wrong time, but wasn’t punished the way they were because clearly it was an accident, but theirs was probably an accident too.”

Gavin Newsom’s wife recalls telling prisoners at San Quentin about running over and killing her sister with a golf cart.

Woods shared the clip, saying: “Setting aside whether her childhood accident was an unconscious act for the moment, her astonishing theory that most of the rapists, murderers, and child molesters in prison acted ‘accidentally’ is mind-boggling.

“More importantly it is a powerful lesson about the liberal mind. We can now be assured that this opportunistic little piece of work, like so many of her ilk, will invariably weep for the criminal, but consider his victims, if she indeed considers them at all, as collateral damage. One thing is clear: she’s an even more dreadful monster than her vile, dangerous, deranged husband.”

Author Jack Posobiec of Turning Point USA noted: “She was 6 years old when the accident happened. People in San Quentin are adult rapists and murderers.”

Donald Trump Jr. shared the video and said: “You can’t make this sh** up.”

Former swimmer Riley Gaines said: “Newsom’s wife’s latest virtue signal is telling San Quentin lifers that she faced zero consequences when her sister was killed because it was an accident then telling them their life sentences are probably for ‘accidents’ too. Peak elite tone-deafness.”

U.S. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, opined: “Murders are, by definition, not accidental. Apparently the First Lady of California does not accept that – concluding as she does that convicted murderers likely killed their victims accidentally.”

Assistant U.S. Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon simply stated: “What the …”

And @AbigailLois2 suggested: “This woman is filled with demons. No wonder she killed her sister in cold blood. People automatically assumed it was an accident because she was a little girl or she faked it. Girls and Boys when demon possessed do outrageous things.”

Jennifer Newsom is receiving media scrutiny as the 2028 presidential election nears, and her husband is considered a potential top contender to receive the Democratic nomination.
