TODAY’S PASSAGE
From “Book 1 Voice Of Angels Book One copy” by Michael Canfield:
asked for protection from Jesus, which we did consistently. Fear aside, once contact was made, I knew the energy was good. I felt excitement, not dread. The visit to the psychic was meant to confirm our union and the breakthrough communication with Peace. Was this you prompting me? Peace: No. That impulse came from your fear and insecurity — particularly about revealing your inner life to Emily and wanting reassurance that your relationship was secure. However, I did set the psychic in motion. I opened a higher-dimensional door briefly for your protection and allowed her to see you as you
REFLECTION
How often do we seek external confirmation for what we already know deep inside? In this powerful passage, we witness a profoundly human moment: someone reaching out for reassurance not from divine prompting, but from fear and insecurity. Peace’s response is both gentle and illuminating—acknowledging that while the impulse came from fear, divine protection was still present throughout the journey. This is the beautiful paradox of faith: even when we act from our wounds rather than our wisdom, love continues to guide and protect us.
The distinction Peace makes here is crucial for our spiritual growth. Not every impulse we feel is divine guidance; sometimes it’s simply our fear dressed up as intuition. We want so desperately to know we’re on the right path, that our relationships are secure, that we’re not alone in our spiritual experiences. These are deeply human needs, and there’s no shame in them. What matters is learning to recognize the difference between fear-driven seeking and authentic spiritual guidance—and trusting that even when we can’t tell the difference, we’re still held in divine protection.
Notice too how Peace doesn’t condemn the fear-based action but instead reveals how divine love worked within it anyway. The psychic was “set in motion” for protection; a “higher-dimensional door” was opened. This is grace in action—meeting us where we are, even in our insecurity, and weaving protection and purpose into our imperfect choices. When we learn to recognize the energy of excitement versus dread, goodness versus darkness, we develop spiritual discernment that serves us far better than any external validation ever could.
THIS SPEAKS TO ME BECAUSE…
Today, I invite you to consider: Where in your life are you seeking external confirmation for something you already know in your heart? What would it feel like to trust that even your fear-driven choices are held within divine protection? Can you distinguish between the energy of excitement and dread in your own spiritual journey?
