As we were just getting settled, I was injured. Somehow, I felt a connection to earlier events in my life. What was the reason for this accident?
REFLECTION
How often does life wait until we’re just getting comfortable before throwing us a curveball? We finally feel settled—in our job, our home, our routine—and then something happens that knocks us off balance. An injury, a loss, an unexpected challenge. In those moments, it’s natural to ask “Why now? Why this?” But what if these interruptions aren’t random at all? What if they’re threads in a larger tapestry we can’t yet see?
The author’s recognition of a connection to earlier life events is profound. Our souls often know what our minds haven’t yet understood. Sometimes we need to be stopped in our tracks to see patterns we’ve been repeating, lessons we haven’t learned, or healing we’ve been avoiding.
