Many years before the conversations recorded here, I undertook a complete study of the Bible under Peace’s guidance. That study was intense and immersive, yet it occurred only once. Over time, while the themes and impressions of Scripture remained with me, the specific wording and structure were not committed to memory. At times, I paraphrase from recollection before later confirming the passage in its recorded form. For that reason, when moments arose in dialogue that closely reflected written Scripture, I was often surprised by the degree of alignment. The inclusion of these passages reflects that convergence – not deliberate reconstruction, but recognition. The Bible stands as written. I do not claim to alter it, supersede it, or reinterpret its authority. I include it here only where the dialogue naturally converges with what has already been recorded. For our readers, may I introduce you as the Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and shorten how I address you in our conversations as Jesus? “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.”
REFLECTION
There’s something beautiful about the honesty in this passage. Michael Canfield doesn’t claim perfect recall or attempt to position himself as a new authority on Scripture. Instead, he describes something many of us have experienced: those moments when truth we’ve absorbed long ago suddenly surfaces in our present conversations, our struggles, our prayers. This is the Holy Spirit working with what we’ve received, bringing it back to remembrance not as rote memorization, but as lived truth.

He’s not trying to replace Scripture or add to it—he’s showing us what happens when we allow authentic dialogue with the Divine to unfold naturally. The convergence he describes isn’t forced or manufactured; it’s the natural result of a heart steeped in God’s Word encountering God’s presence.
