Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said the move aligns with the Trump administration’s Make America Healthy Again agenda.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will no longer recommend that healthy children and pregnant women take COVID-19 vaccine shots, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced on Tuesday.
“Last year, the Biden administration urged healthy children to get yet another COVID shot despite the lack of any critical data to support the repeat booster strategy in children,” Kennedy said in a video posted on social media platform X.
“I couldn’t be more pleased to announce that, as of today, the COVID vaccine for healthy children and healthy pregnant women has been removed from the CDC’s recommended immunization schedule.”
