President Donald Trump said he will “take a look” at deporting Elon Musk after the former federal employee once again criticized his “Big Beautiful Bill.”
After Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” passed a procedural vote in the Senate, Musk tweeted criticism of the legislation, suggesting that he will help primary members of Congress who supported it. Trump responded to Musk’s complaints in an early morning Truth Social, taking questions on the topic while leaving for a trip.
“I don’t know. We’ll have to take a look,” Trump said of deporting Musk, a naturalized American citizen who is originally from South Africa.
“We might have to put DOGE on Elon. You know what DOGE is? DOGE is the monster that might have to go back and eat Elon,” he continued.
In the Truth Social post, the president reiterated that Musk is upset that the EV tax credits are being left out of the “Big Beautiful Bill.” Despite Musk publicly insisting he didn’t want them in the bill, the former DOGE head personally asked Speaker Mike Johnson to include them in the legislation, a senior congressional source previously told the Caller.
Trump also suggested that Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency should take a look at the Tesla chief’s businesses.
“Elon may get more subsidy than any human being in history, by far, and without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa,” Trump wrote. “No more Rocket launches, Satellites, or Electric Car Production, and our Country would save a FORTUNE. Perhaps we should have DOGE take a good, hard, look at this? BIG MONEY TO BE SAVED!!!”
It is obvious with the insane spending of this bill, which increases the debt ceiling by a record FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS that we live in a one-party country – the PORKY PIG PARTY!!
Time for a new political party that actually cares about the people.

Musk and Trump previously traded barbs after the tech billionaire departed the federal government and railed against the “Big Beautiful Bill.” White House insiders told the Daily Caller at the time that the snubbing of Musk’s NASA pick was the final straw after months of friction between he and the Trump White House.
Insiders added Musk had been over-asking and trying to act like a second president. The former DOGE head was told “no” often, which caused him to become irritable over time.
Musk eventually backtracked his criticism of Trump.
“I regret some of my posts about President Donald Trump last week. They went too far,” Musk wrote in a post.
