President Donald Trump has shared footage of a U.S. strike on the Iranian city of Isfahan where a significant stockpile of Iran’s uranium is allegedly stored deep underground, according to International Atomic Energy Agency Director, General Rafael Grossi.

In a video Trump shared on Truth Social, a ‘high volume’ of 2,000-pound bunker bombs were seen being dropped on the uranium site. The large explosion captured on tape showed billowing black smoke, along with a series of incoming missiles approaching the area.

Fire-tracking satellites from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) suggest the explosions occurred near Mount Soffeh. According to the OSINTtechnical X account, the blasts were so powerful that they could be seen from the Meteosat 12 weather satellite.

The ammunition depot in Isfahan — Iran’s third-most populous city — is known for assembling and storing ballistic missiles, as well as manufacturing rocket propellants and components.

The bunker bombs dropped at the ‘missile city’ were much smaller versions of bombs used to strike three Iran nuclear facilities last summer. They are known as “penetrator munitions” designed to tear into targets deep underground, a U.S. official told The Wall Street Journal.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on X that its strikes targeted a wide array of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) assets, including command-and-control hubs, intelligence sites, ballistic missile facilities, naval vessels, and air defense batteries.

Trump has threatened further strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure and adding additional troops to the 50,000 already in the Middle East. He also emphasized that the destruction of Iran’s energy sources and other vital infrastructure will continue if a deal is not made “shortly.”

“Great progress has been made but, if for any reason a deal is not shortly reached, which it probably will be, and if the Hormuz Strait is not immediately ‘Open for Business,’ we will conclude our lovely ‘stay’ in Iran by blowing up and completely obliterating all of their Electric Generating Plants, Oil Wells and Kharg Island (and possibly all desalinization plants!), which we have purposefully not yet ‘touched’,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

War Secretary Pete Hegseth and General Dan Caine, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, held a press conference on Tuesday to answer questions about Operation Epic Fury. General Caine revealed that U.S. forces will continue to strike Iran’s defense industrial bases.

“This includes factories, warehouses, nuclear weapons research and development labs, and the associated infrastructure required for Iran to reconstitute its combat capability,” he said.

Caine also shared with reporters that the U.S. has struck more than 11,000 targets inside Iran since the conflict began on February 28th.

President Trump is taking decisive steps to secure a peace deal ahead of the November midterm elections, balancing national security with economic stability as oil markets remain volatile. He has also indicated a willingness to conclude the U.S. military campaign strategically, even as the Strait of Hormuz continues to face disruptions, demonstrating a focus on protecting American lives while pursuing lasting solutions in the region.
