Trump Derangement Syndrome is the affliction evident among leftists, Democrats and others who hate President Donald Trump … just for being President Donald Trump.

It has triggered a wave of name-calling, that he’s “Hitler” and his supporters are “Nazis,” and worse.

It has made politicians who ordinarily would support a common-sense agenda reject it out of hand because Trump supports it.

Rants and raves, bellicose behavior and outright falsehoods are part of TDS.

And now it’s going to explode, according to the comments posted online at RedState, following an announcement from Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

That announcement is that Trump’s signature soon will appear on U.S. currency.

Treasury announced: “In honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump’s signature will appear on future U.S. paper currency along with the Secretary of the Treasury, marking the first time in history for a sitting president.”

Bessent said, “Under President Trump’s leadership, we are on a path toward unprecedented economic growth, lasting dollar dominance, and fiscal strength and stability. There is no more powerful way to recognize the historic achievements of our great country and President Donald J. Trump than U.S dollar bills bearing his name, and it is only appropriate that this historic currency be issued at the Semiquincentennial.”

Treasurer Brandon Beach said, “As the 250th anniversary of our great nation approaches, American currency will continue to stand as a symbol of prosperity, strength, and the unshakable spirit of the American people under President Trump’s leadership. The President’s mark on history as the architect of America’s Golden Age economic revival is undeniable. Printing his signature on the American currency is not only appropriate, but also well deserved.”

Leftists were at full volume:

“Another affront to decency by Trump.”

“Will it be the signature of Trump that looks like a deceptive lie detector readout?”

“Every day is a day closer to him not being here anymore.”

But supporters also sounded off

“TDS viral load will explode.”

“This is quite Fun seeing all the lefts heads explode!”

“Fantastic! Cry about it, blue haired, child mutilating weirdos!”

RedState said, “Trump’s and Bessent’s names appearing on the currency also symbolize another historic change.”

That is that the name of the treasurer will not appear on currency.

“The news follows approval last week of a 24-karat commemorative gold coin that will feature Trump’s image. The federal Commission of Fine Arts officially voted Thursday to approve a new 24-karat commemorative gold coin featuring President Trump, amid backlash from Democrats and other stakeholders,” the report said.
